Electric Solar Energy Solutions

Cheapest Energies - Click here   The cheapest energy available is the power of the sun or electric solar energy which can be used in many ways to help us lower our current energy needs.

There are systems available that can help you convert the heat of the sun to provide hot water for your home.

These systems require a few small solar panels mounted on your roof and can provide all the hot water your family needs for free.

  ⇒The Sun has Many Uses

   •  Other systems use the light the sun provides to illuminate the interior of your home with bright, natural lighting and help lower your electricity bill by eliminating the needs for artificial lighting.

Still other systems allow you to heat your home using the sun by cleverly orienting your home due south and installing large glass windows to allow the sun to penetrate into your home and heat the walls and floors.

This heat is then released in the evenings and will keep your home at a moderate temperature all year using little more than simple sunlight.

  • Another great use for the power of the sun, and one that has become very popular in recent years is electrical solar energy use. This technology takes the light the sun provides and converts it into useful electricity for your home.

These systems have been commercially available for decades but have only recently gained widespread acceptance with the general public. The reasons for this are their lower pricing and better efficiency.

 • Today these systems provide an economical way for the average homeowner to generate their own electrical solar energy from the sun and never have to pay another electricity bill again.

The Solar Panel and How it Generates Electricity

Earth4Energy - Click Here  The main component in any electrical solar energy system is the solar panel. This solar panel is the part of the system that is responsible for the conversion of sunlight to electricity and it does this through the use of a collection of solar cells mounted inside these solar panels.

These solar cells use the principal of photovoltaics to do the conversion and have become very efficient with this process over the years. The photovoltaic effect occurs when certain materials are placed in direct sunlight and generate a small electrical current as a result.

 • Even though this current may be very small, when a number of these cells are connected together in a solar panel, they can generate quite a bit of power.

A solar panel is a collection of these solar cells and most homes will need several of these solar panels to provide the electrical solar energy they require.

These solar panels will produce a DC current as part of their conversion process. Our homes run on AC current and the DC current from the solar panels is converted to AC current that can be used by us through the use of an inverter.

 • This inverter is normally mounted near the homes electrical panel and can convert the power from all of the solar panels on the roof of the home and channel it to the homes electrical system for use.

The inverter will also send some of this power to a battery bank if you decide to install one to charge these batteries for use in the evenings when the sun has set and the solar panels are inactive.

This way, your electrical solar energy system can still provide power for your home from these batteries during the evenings.

You Can Do it Yourself and Save

All of these components are included in every electrical solar energy system and simply connect together to provide the power your home requires. Most of the components you need to generate this free power you can install yourself.

 • You should have a qualified electrical contractor make the final connection of the system to your homes electrical wiring to make sure it meets the local electrical code requirements.

Once installed your new electrical solar energy system should generate all the power you need for decades and require very little attention making it one of the cheapest energies available.
