House Renewable
Energy
Alternative energy solutions are fast gaining acceptance among homeowners as energy prices continue to climb. Many of these homeowners are looking for ways to
generate their own house renewable energy to help them lower their power costs
each month.
There are a number of good solutions for generating this electricity and by far the most popular in
recent years is solar power.
Modern solar power systems can be installed on any home and offer a flexible solution that allows you to
lower or even eliminate your current electricity bills.

• The other benefit these systems provide is that by using an alternative energy solution such as solar power
you will be eliminating the pollution that would have been produced in creating your power the conventional
way.
• Modern solar power systems have been refined over the years to result in a near perfect solution for
most homes. They are available in a wide variety of styles and sizes to fit any homes power needs.
• There are even solar roof tiles available that look like standard roofing material and can blend in perfectly
with your existing roof. All of these house renewable energy systems produce far more power then systems available even a few
years ago and are easy enough for the average homeowner to install most of the system themselves.

One major change that makes much of this possible is the legislation that requires your local power
utility to purchase excess power you may generate with one of these house renewable energy systems.
In older systems a homeowner had to have some way of storing the excess power they
generated during the day so that it could be harnessed in the evenings.
This usually meant a large and expensive bank of batteries in the homes basement
needed to be installed and charged by the system. This way in the evenings when the house renewable energy system was inactive, these batteries could provide the power the
home required.
• Since the legislation was passed a few years ago, major utilities have to allow you to send this excess
power back up the power lines and create a credit for you as a result.
• This means that the average solar power system is generating far more power than it can use during the
day and channeling the excess to the local utility.
• Then in the evenings when the solar panels are dormant, the home can use power from the local utility
for their needs and use the credits generated during the day to help offset the cost.
If a house renewable energy system is sized correctly this back and forth trading of power
should cancel each other out. This way you always have power when you need it for your home and will never have
to worry about another electricity bill.
In fact, in many states you can actually receive a check from the local utility for any excess power you
generate each month above what your home is using. The excess power that you
generate and send to the local utility is used by them to service other customers and they will compensate you for
it.
Use
all the energy your home can handle from your solar panels.

If you create excess, have it sent to the Hydro Company.
⇓ The Hydro Company will use it for other homes
and company's.
⇓ You get $$$$$ for your
efforts.
If you plan on installing a larger system than your home requires to be able to
take advantage of this, be sure to check with your local utility to see what their policies are. Either way these
modern house renewable energy systems are a great investment that will allow you to enjoy free power for your home
as long as the sun is shining.
