Zero Point
Generator
Even though solar and wind power are two alternative energy solutions that most people turn to
for their homes, there are always new and inventive ways of generating power cleanly being developed.
One relatively new technology that is generating a lot of interest is called a zero point generator and this technology has the potential to be a serious
contender to other alternative energy solutions.

How they work ⇒
• The way a zero point generator works is based on the principles of magnetism, which are well documented
and have been used for years. Basically these principles state that when you pass a magnet over a coil of wire a
small current is created in this wire.
• Even though this current is very small, if you have a large enough coil or pass the magnet over the
wire fast enough you can produce a large enough current that can be used in your home for power.
Even though there are a number of ways to build the actual zero point generator, magnetic induction is at the heart of all of them.
• The same principle is used in motors all over the world today that power most of our machinery and
appliances. The difference with a motor is that unlike a zero point generator where the magnet induces a current in
a wire, a motor reverses this interaction.
In a motor a current is sent through a coil of wire that creates a magnetic field to repel a magnet. A
series of these magnets are attached to a rotor on a shaft and every time a magnet passes this coil of wire it is
forced away again and this constant interaction between the coil and the magnet is what spins the shaft of a
typical motor.
A zero point generator simply uses the same principle, but in reverse. In the zero point
generator the magnets are moved past the wire and the resultant current is harvested as electricity for your
home.
Different methods to build
your generator ⇒
A zero point generator can be built in a number of ways and there are kits and plans for them all over
the internet. Most of these are used to demonstrate how the zero point generator works, but if you build a few of
them, or build one large enough you could use the free electricity it produces to reduce or eliminate your
electricity bill at home.
The other nice thing about a zero point generator is that it requires no fuel to run and will produce no
harmful byproducts as a result of generating power. In this sense it is a clean and renewable energy source.
As with any new concept there is always heated debate and questions about how the device works and how
efficient the unit can be. A zero point generator is no different in this regard and it has as many fans as
detractors.
The truth is that if you build a zero point generator from one of the many sets of plans
available, it will produce electricity that you can use. The key is building one large enough for your needs
and then converting the electricity it produces for you into the correct voltage for your home.
It’s also a good idea to use the power that a zero point generator supplies to charge a bank of batteries
rather then powering your home directly from the device.
These batteries add a layer of buffering that provides a more consistent level of power for your home
than the zero point generator can supply on its own.
